(Por ejemplo, en torres de refrigeraci\u00f3n, galvanoplastia y en la industria textil). La pr\u00e1ctica del uso de compuestos a base de cromo tiende a disminuir dr\u00e1sticamente debido a la preocupaci\u00f3n por la salud y el medio ambiente. Las aguas subterr\u00e1neas de las zonas contaminadas pueden seguir presentando concentraciones superiores a la directriz de la Organizaci\u00f3n Mundial de la Salud (OMS) de 50 \u00b5g\/l como cromo total.<\/p><p>El diagrama de Pourbaix o potencial\/pH de la figura 2 del cromo muestra la dispersi\u00f3n del cromo en el agua. El \u00e1rea entre las l\u00edneas punteadas de color naranja representa la zona de estabilidad del agua. La Figura 1 muestra que la especiaci\u00f3n del cromo en el agua est\u00e1 dominada por el cromato (CrO\u2084\u00b2\u00af), los dicromatos (Cr\u2082O\u2087\u00b2\u00af) y el cromo elemental trivalente (Cr\u00b3\u207a). El grupo de aminos cuaternarios de Resinex\u2122 A-4 muestra una afinidad muy alta por los iones cromato y dicromato. Las resinas no pueden ser regeneradas. El mecanismo de eliminaci\u00f3n se describe en la siguiente reacci\u00f3n:<\/p><p style=\"text-align: left;\">2 R-N+(CH\u2083)\u2083 Cl- + CrO\u2084\u00b2\u00af \u2192 2 [R-N+(CH\u2083)\u2083] CrO\u2084\u00b2- + 2 Cl\u00af<\/p><p style=\"text-align: left;\">2 R-N+(CH\u2083)\u2083 Cl- + Cr\u2082O\u2087\u00b2\u00af \u2192 2 [R-N+(CH\u2083)\u2083] Cr\u2082O\u2087\u00b2+ 2 Cl\u00af<\/p><p>Con una concentraci\u00f3n de entrada inferior a 200mg\/l, se espera que la capacidad operativa de Resinex\u2122 A-4 sea de +\/- 12 g expresados en Cr por litro de resina (+\/-12 kg\/m\u00b3).<\/p>\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t<div class=\"elementor-element elementor-element-7589c99 e-flex e-con-boxed e-con e-parent\" data-id=\"7589c99\" data-element_type=\"container\" data-e-type=\"container\">\n\t\t\t\t\t<div class=\"e-con-inner\">\n\t\t\t\t<div class=\"elementor-element elementor-element-522e7953 elementor-widget elementor-widget-text-editor\" data-id=\"522e7953\" data-element_type=\"widget\" data-e-type=\"widget\" data-widget_type=\"text-editor.default\">\n\t\t\t\t<div class=\"elementor-widget-container\">\n\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<h3>Condiciones operativas recomendadas para la eliminaci\u00f3n del cromo<\/h3><p>Se puede utilizar un AquaFlow\u2122 para la eliminaci\u00f3n del cromo con un tiempo de contacto superficial de un m\u00ednimo de seis minutos, pero por lo general se utilizan dos AquaFlow\u2122 en serie, sistemas de tiovivo con un flujo t\u00edpico por recipiente de 10 a 30 vol\u00famenes de cama por hora (BV\/h).<\/p>\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t<div class=\"elementor-element elementor-element-6c372a4e e-flex e-con-boxed e-con e-parent\" data-id=\"6c372a4e\" data-element_type=\"container\" data-e-type=\"container\">\n\t\t\t\t\t<div class=\"e-con-inner\">\n\t\t\t\t<div class=\"elementor-element elementor-element-2df5bb44 elementor-widget elementor-widget-text-editor\" data-id=\"2df5bb44\" data-element_type=\"widget\" data-e-type=\"widget\" data-widget_type=\"text-editor.default\">\n\t\t\t\t<div class=\"elementor-widget-container\">\n\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<h3>\u00bfC\u00f3mo dise\u00f1ar un sistema de eliminaci\u00f3n de cromo?<\/h3><p>Supongamos que un agua subterr\u00e1nea contaminada con 0,5 mg\/l como Cr de cromato (Cr\u02c5\u02e1\u207a) que necesita ser purificada con las siguientes propiedades:<\/p><ul><li>Flujo medio de 30m\u00b3\/h<\/li><li>Funcionamiento continuo 24\/24 -7\/7<\/li><li>Concentraciones de cromo de 0,5mg\/l = 0,5g\/m\u00b3<\/li><li>Anual con agua subterr\u00e1nea contaminada con cromo 30m\u00b3\/h x 8600hpa = 258.000m\u00b3<\/li><li>La carga anual de cromo: 0,5g\/m\u00b3 x 258.000m\u00b3 = 129.000g = 129kg de cromo<\/li><\/ul><p>Esto da a una carga media de 12 kg Cr\/m\u00b3 Resinex\u2122 A-4 un consumo de aproximadamente 11m\u00b3 Resinex\u2122 A-4 por a\u00f1o.
