Il arrive aussi que certaines d&rsquo;entre elles soient directement s\u00e9ch\u00e9es par des gaz d&rsquo;\u00e9chappement, ce qui entra\u00eene une pollution aux hydrocarbures aromatiques polycycliques (HAP), comme le benzo(a)pyr\u00e8ne, par exemple. Les huiles v\u00e9g\u00e9tales brutes peuvent \u00e9galement \u00eatre contamin\u00e9es lors de leur transport par mer.<\/span><\/span><\/p><p><span style=\"font-size: 11pt; color: #3a3a3a;\"><span style=\"line-height: 18pt;\">Au fil des ann\u00e9es, l&rsquo;utilisation du charbon actif pour purifier les huiles v\u00e9g\u00e9tales a vu son importance s&rsquo;accro\u00eetre. En effet, de nouvelles normes de qualit\u00e9 plus rigoureuses, li\u00e9es aux hydrocarbures aromatiques polycycliques (HAP), sont entr\u00e9es en vigueur.<\/span><\/span><\/p><p><span style=\"font-size: 11pt; color: #3a3a3a;\"><span style=\"line-height: 18pt;\">Le charbon actif en poudre (CAP) est souvent utilis\u00e9 pour \u00e9liminer les hydrocarbures aromatiques polycycliques (HAP) pr\u00e9sents dans les huiles v\u00e9g\u00e9tales.<\/span><\/span><\/p><p><span style=\"font-size: 11pt; color: #3a3a3a;\"><span style=\"line-height: 18pt;\">L&rsquo;\u00e9limination des HAP peut aussi \u00eatre r\u00e9alis\u00e9e avec du charbon actif granulaire (CAG), \u00e0 l&rsquo;aide de syst\u00e8mes d&rsquo;adsorption \u00e0 plusieurs \u00e9tages qui garantissent une purge des contaminants s\u00fbre et efficace. Certains utilisateurs de charbon actif en granul\u00e9s installent des adsorbeurs \u00e0 lit fixe alors que d&rsquo;autres ont recours \u00e0 des adsorbeurs mobiles.<\/span><\/span><\/p><p><span style=\"font-size: 11pt; color: #3a3a3a;\"><span style=\"line-height: 18pt;\">L&rsquo;utilisation de charbon actif en granul\u00e9s plut\u00f4t que de charbon actif en poudre pr\u00e9sente plusieurs avantages, comme par exemple:<\/span><\/span><\/p><ul><li><span style=\"font-size: 11pt; color: #3a3a3a;\"><span style=\"font-size: 11pt; color: #3a3a3a;\"><span style=\"line-height: 18pt;\">une r\u00e9duction de la consommation de charbon actif (la consommation de CAG est g\u00e9n\u00e9ralement inf\u00e9rieure de 30 % \u00e0 celle de CAP)<\/span><\/span><\/span><ul><li><span style=\"font-size: 11pt; color: #3a3a3a;\"><span style=\"line-height: 18pt;\">La charge du charbon actif en granul\u00e9s (CAG) est sup\u00e9rieure \u00e0 celle du charbon actif en poudre (CAP)<\/span><\/span><\/li><\/ul><\/li><li><span style=\"font-size: 11pt; color: #3a3a3a;\"><span style=\"line-height: 18pt;\">pas de surdosage du charbon actif de la part des op\u00e9rateurs pour \u00e9viter les produits non-conformes<\/span><\/span><ul><li><span style=\"font-size: 11pt; color: #3a3a3a;\"><span style=\"line-height: 18pt;\">Le charbon actif en granul\u00e9s (CAG) r\u00e9pond mieux aux fluctuations des proc\u00e9d\u00e9s<\/span><\/span><\/li><\/ul><\/li><li><span style=\"font-size: 11pt;
