(Par exemple, dans les tours de refroidissement, la galvanoplastie et dans l\u2019industrie textile). L\u2019utilisation de compos\u00e9s \u00e0 base de chrome a tendance \u00e0 diminuer consid\u00e9rablement en raison de probl\u00e8mes de sant\u00e9 et d\u2019environnement. Les eaux souterraines des zones contamin\u00e9es peuvent encore pr\u00e9senter des concentrations sup\u00e9rieures \u00e0 la recommandation de l\u2019Organisation Mondiale de la Sant\u00e9 (OMS) de 50 \u00b5g \/ l de chrome total.<\/p><p>Le diagramme de Pourbaix ou potentiel \/ pH de la figure 2 du chrome montre la sp\u00e9ciation du chrome dans l\u2019eau. La zone entre les lignes pointill\u00e9es orange repr\u00e9sente la zone de stabilit\u00e9 de l\u2019eau. La figure 1 montre que la sp\u00e9ciation du chrome dans l\u2019eau est domin\u00e9e par le chromate (CrO\u2084\u00b2\u00af), les dichromates (Cr\u2082O\u2087\u00b2\u00af) et le chrome \u00e9l\u00e9mentaire trivalent (Cr\u00b3\u207a). Le groupe amino quaternaire de <strong>Resinex\u2122 A-4<\/strong> pr\u00e9sente une tr\u00e8s forte affinit\u00e9 pour les ions chromate et dichromate. Les r\u00e9sines ne peuvent pas \u00eatre r\u00e9g\u00e9n\u00e9r\u00e9es.
