Jacobi fully subscribe to the fundamental premise of organizations such as SIDA (Swedish International Development Agency) that require investors to safeguard all employees and their families; will not exploit young or vulnerable persons, and actively contribute to the local community. Jacobi Carbons does not employ child labour, nor does it contravene regulations relating to minimum pay or working conditions.
The Sustainable Company
The use of the Earth’s natural resources is a significant consideration in the design of all Jacobi Carbons’ manufacturing facilities. The production of activated carbon has environmental impacts that can be mitigated by the careful management of process, selection of sustainable raw materials and the re-use of by-products. Each Jacobi facility operates modern, efficient processing equipment. The re-use of heat generated and water consumed is undertaken at every possible opportunity. Any surplus energy generated is returned to the local networks.
